Step aboard for a special 4.5-hour cruise past five impressive locks and discover the waterways of South Limburg and Belgian Limburg. From Maastricht, we sail along the Meuse towards the imposing Ternaaien lock. Here, shipping overcomes a height difference of no less than 15 meters, an impressive spectacle to experience up close.
After passing through the lock, we continue our journey along the Albert Canal. This important shipping canal takes us past the villages of Kanne, Vroenhoven, and Veldwezelt. Along the way, you will enjoy the varied landscape and the view of one of the busiest waterways in Belgium. Next, we reach the locks of Lanaken and Neerharen. These locks also have a drop of 9 meters.
Via the Zuid-Willemsvaart, we then return towards Maastricht. Along the way, we pass the characteristic manually operated lock 19, after which we sail through the atmospheric inner harbor ’t Bassin. We reach the Meuse again via lock 20. The boat docks back in Maastricht around 15:30 to 16:00.

Coffee and tea are available upon request. Reservations can only be made through our reservations department.

After you have completed the payment, you will receive the tickets in your mailbox. If you do not receive the tickets, we advise you to check your spam folder first. If you do not find the tickets there either, please contact our reservations department.
Once you have purchased your ticket, you cannot cancel, and no refunds are possible for tickets you will not be using. However, you can change your ticket to another date free of charge up to 48 hours in advance. To do so, please contact our reservations department.
The jetties and ticket office are located at Maaspromenade 58, right in the city centre of Maastricht, between the Sint Servaas Bridge and the Wilhelmina Bridge. The City Tour of Maastricht, operated by our Sun Train, also departs from this location. The Maaspromenade is a pedestrian area and is inaccessible to cars for large parts of the day (11:00 AM - 6:00 PM). We recommend parking your car in one of the parking garages in the immediate vicinity of the Rederij. Visit Maastricht Bereikbaar to plan your trip to our location at Maaspromenade 58.
The Maaspromenade is a pedestrian area and therefore not accessible by car. The nearest parking garage is Mosae Forum parking garage at Maasboulevard 40. Coaches, however, have the option to drop off and pick up guests throughout the day. They can use the route via Het Bat and Kesselskade. For coach parking, we refer you to the Maastricht Bereikbaar website.
You may bring your dog on the 5-Lock tour, provided it is kept on a leash.
Our ships all have indoor seating as well as an outdoor deck. We do not reserve specific seats inside or outside for our passengers. Therefore, if you would like to sit outside in good weather, you must board early.

Also located on the Maaspromenade is the trendy restaurant “Riverside Lounge”, where you can go for delicious coffee with Limburg flan, a tasty lunch, or an atmospheric dinner.
